NEWTON, Mass. – Shelby Pickering scored three goals to lead the Husson College Eagles to a 6-1 women’s soccer victory over Mount Ida Saturday.
Shelby Morissette, Samantha Homer, and Tatyana Wolterbeek added goals for 8-3-1 Husson. Leah Drew stopped 10 of 14 shots.
Allie DeAngelis scored for 7-5 Mount Ida College. Kyle Garvey and Jamie Hurd combined to make four saves on 18 shots.
UMFK 6, UM-Machias 0
At Machias Saturday, Liz Clavette and Jodyann Blake scored two goals apiece as the unbeaten Bengals to their 10th victory.
Sarah Pinette and Maria Williams netted a goal each and Stephanie Schofield posted two assists. Heather Hartman made three saves on four shots.
Alicia Schmidt made eight saves on 17 shots for the 3-7 Clippers.
Wesleyan 1, Colby 0
At Waterville Saturday, Lauren Ogden scored 4:25 into the first half as Wesleyan shut down the White Mules.
Gavi Elkind made eight saves on 24 shots for 5-4 Wesleyan.
Liza Benson stopped six of eight shots for 6-1-2 Colby.

At Gorham Saturday, Julia Cyr and Gabrielle Cyr scored goals to lift the Huskies.
Samantha Mathieu had an assist for 4-7 Southern Maine. Meghan Ibar stopped eight of 20 shots.
Morgan McQuaide made four saves on 11 shots for the 4-5-1 Panthers.
St. Joseph’s 3, Roger Williams 2
At Standish Sunday, Michelle Crisp scored the winner off a Katie Jordan assist in the second half as the Monks earned the win.
Jordan and Hagerman scored first-half goals for 7-4 Saint Joseph’s. Megan Willettte and Heather Stranger provided assists. Monica Cuda stopped five of eight shots.
Mary DaCunha and Amanda DaCunha scored for 8-5-1 Roger Williams. Jen Garside made five saves on 12 shots.
Colby 2, Williams 2 (2OT)
At Waterville, Meggie Herlihy of Colby and Brianna Wolfson of Williams College each scored two goals as the White Mules and the Ephs battled to a 2-2 tie through two overtimes on Sunday.
Liza Benson stopped 14 of 22 shots for 6-1-3 Colby.
Sarah Ginsburg made five saves on 10 shots for 7-1-2 Williams.

UMFK 3, UMM 1
At Machias, Dwayne Smith and Arnold Lewis scored second-half goals five minutes apart to spark the University of Maine-Fort Kent men’s soccer team to a 3-1 victory Saturday over UMaine-Machias.
Andrew Martin had an assist for 7-1 UMaine-Fort Kent, which was also credited with an own-goal by the Clippers. Derrick Plourde made two saves on three shots.
Christian Villatro scored the goal for 5-4-1 UMaine-Machias on a penalty kick. Kellen Shaver made 12 saves on 25 shots.
UM-Presque Isle 1, Thomas 0
At Waterville Saturday, Travis Parent hit a corner kick to score 27:18 into the game as the Owls edged the Terriers.
Scott Clency blocked six of eight shots for UM-Presque Isle.
Russel Beckwith made six saves on 14 shots for Thomas of Waterville.
Wesleyan 3, Colby 0
At Waterville Saturday, Sam Griswold recorded a goal and an assist to propel Wesleyan past Colby.
Chris Brown and Matt Nevin scored for 8-0-1 Wesleyan as Matt Gnall blocked one of five shots.
Josh Kahane made three saves on 12 shots for 2-3-2 Colby.
UMBC 2, Maine 1 (2OT)
At Orono Saturday, Kevin Mezzadra scored 34 seconds into the second overtime as the Retrievers edged the Black Bears.
Mezzadra scored on a David Feazell assist in the first half for 4-7-3 University of Maryland Baltimore Count. Steve King made no saves on one shot.
Martin John scored on a Cooper Friend assists at 89:35 in the second half for the 0-13 Black Bears. Giacomo Brunino blocked five of seven shots.

At Waterville Sunday, the Ephs got goals from Dana Leary and Patrick Huffer in the win.
Greg Walker made four saves on seven shots for 9-0 Williams.
Josh Kahane made nine saves on 21 shots for the 2-4-2 White Mules.
Mount Ida 3, Maine Maritime 1
At Newton, Mass., Sunday, Leo Roy, Taiki Otsuka and Josh Belongie each scored a goal off a corner kick in Mount Ida’s win.
Brian Leighton made two saves on six shots for the Mustangs.
Tyler Eads netted the goal for the Mariners of Castine. Brian Nason made 14 saves on 29 shots.
Mount Ida 2, Husson 1
At Newton, Mass., Saturday, Josh Belongie scored two goals, including the game-winner at the 84:19 mark in the second half as Mount Ida tipped Husson of Bangor.
Brian Leighton had four saves on 16 shots for 7-4-1 Mount Ida.
Oscar Ody scored on a penalty kick in the second half for 9-2-1 Husson. Jon Cowie blocked three of 14 shots.
Plymouth State 3, USM 2 (OT)
At Plymouth, N.H., Takeru Tanikawa scored the winning goal off of a George Delano assist 3:57 into overtime to lead Plymouth State University past the University of Southern Maine on Sunday.
Felix Rosen scored twice for the 8-1-1 Panthers. Semir Mehmedovic provided both assists as Tyler Shute stopped three of eight shots.
Eddie Weddington and Sinisa Bajic scored for the 5-8 Huskies. Cassidy Neal had an assist as Chris Willard made three saves on 13 shots.

At Castleton, Vt., Saturday, Amanda Pullen scored two goals to power the Beavers.
Nicole Lyons added an assist and Kaeleigh Barker made seven saves on nine shots for 7-1 UM-Farmington.
Trisha Clark and Jessica Viens combined for nine saves on 13 shots.
Colby 3, Wesleyan 2
At Waterville Saturday, Chrissy Maloney scored on a Kyla Wagman assist 14:27 left in the second overtime to lift Colby over Wesleyan.
Caroline Duke and Jenn Reilly scored for 2-5 Colby. Ashley Wagner provided an assist. Jamie Enos made 21 saves on 30 shots.
Hailey Sarage and Julie Perciasepe scored second-half goals for 4-5 Wesleyan. Breen McDonald and Caitlin Kelly combined to stop 15 of 19 shots.
USM 3, Western Connecticut 2
At Danbury, Conn., Saturday, Alyssa Kraus scored the game-winning goal off of a India Lowe assist at 51:46 in the second half to power the Huskies.
Caitlin Albert and Cristina Corson scored for the 7-6 Huskies. Nicole Bombardi had an assist as Allie Hill stopped eight of 16 shots.
Rachael Bolmer and Justine Odenwaelder scored for 1-9 Western Connecticut. Ashley Quinn made 14 saves on 26 shots.
Maine 3, Vermont 2
At Orono Saturday, Jackie D’Amato scored two first-half goals, boosting the Black Bears.
Amy Zdrojesky had a goal and an assist for the 4-8 Black Bears. Joanna Fernandez and Gina Legge provided assists. Rebecca Giroux stopped six of eight shots.
Kelly McClinteck and Maegan Luce scored for the 6-5 Catamounts. Kristen Heavens made three saves on six shots.
Williams 4, Colby 3 (OT)
At Waterville Sunday, Meighan McGowan scored the game-winning goal with 4:09 left in overtime as the Ephs tipped the White Mules.
Three other players scored for 10-0 Williams. Emily Wasserman made eight saves on 13 shots for the 10-0 Ephs.
Chelsea Rosenheimer, Frazer Humes and Mary Clare Snediker each netted a goal for 2-6 Colby. Jamie Enos stopped 13 of 17 shots.
Maine Maritime 4, Mount Ida 2
At Newton, Mass., Diana Manatt-Rogers scored a goal and assisted another to lift Maine Maritime Academy over Mount Ida College on Sunday.
Kristen Gabor, Kristen Gaylord, and Jessie Taylor added goals for the 6-3-2 Mariners. Ashley Douglass and Meghan McKay had assists. Hillary Arris stopped seven of 17 shots.
Emily Young scored both goals for 7-6 Mound Ida. Kyle Garvey blocked three of 14 shots.
Volleyball
Seawolves defeat Black Bears
At Orono Sunday, Stony Brook rallied in the second set of the match to pull out the win 17-30, 30-21, 31-29, 30-26.
Morgan Sweany paced the 9-11 Seawolves with 17 kills and eight digs.
Lindsay Allman led 4-13 Maine with a match-high 18 kills, two service aces, 15 digs and a block. Jessica Wolfenden added nine kills.
Women’s ice hockey
Maine 3, Bemidji State 2
At the Ridder Arena in Minneapolis, Minn., Genevieve Turgeon made 39 saves, including 19 in the third period, and Sonia Corriveau and Vanessa Vani scored third-period goals as Maine won the consolation game at the Easton Shootout.
Corriveau, set up by Brigitte Laflamme and Taryn Peacock, broke a 1-1 tie 3:52 into the third period and Peacock assisted on Vani’s game-winner 7:20 later for 1-3 Maine.
Kelly Law tied the game with a power-play goal in the second period off assists from Elyce Thomas and Jenna Ouellette.
Jenn Sadler opened the scoring in the first period for 0-2 Bemidji State and Emily Brookshaw made 28 saves.
