A vote for integrity

Democrats (liberals) have de-fended the immoral ACTIONS of their own in years past, yet now they are becoming holier-than-thou when a Republican from Florida has made the news with his immoral e-mails. Mark Foley needed to resign and crawl into a hole, but he also needs to face the consequences of what he is accused. Hiding behind alcoholism is not the answer to his problems, prompted by the lifestyle he has chosen.

Nov. 7 we have the opportunity to elect a conservative candidate for governor, Chandler Woodcock, and to elect more conservative candidates for the State House and Senate, so the liberals’ laws that have been signed by the present Gov. Baldacci can possibly be overturned. Right now, the Democrat-controlled Maine House of Representatives votes a bill into law, the Democrat-controlled Maine Senate votes it in, also, and the Democrat Baldacci signs it into law (a bill that he submits in the first place). There is no recourse for a veto whatsoever!

It is important for our traditional family values that we elect men and women of integrity and not those who are against the values we have always held as Mainers and Americans.
