Only if women vote

Election Day is fast approaching. It’s the day you get to vote for someone whom you hope will represent you on issues that have a direct bearing on how well you are able to live.

It’s amazing how many people can’t be bothered to vote … can’t take the time … don’t know who’s running and don’t care; especially women. Shame on women who don’t vote after all of the suffering women went through just to win the right in an anti-suffrage movement where men, and even other women, said women didn’t really want the right to vote and probably were not qualified to exercise it anyway. Women went to jail so the women to follow could and would be able to vote.

Can’t make it to the polls? There are absentee ballots. In an age where sexual predators look for special rights, partial-birth abortions are considered acceptable and children are introduced to sexual preference materials in our schools when they should be playing games, a woman’s vote is imperative to the welfare of our society.

Choose a candidate who best represents your views and vote for your choice. You will be rewarded by the knowledge that you took part in the political process and you’ll be teaching your kids that they too will have a voice in the way things are done in America.

You can still tell them that only in America can a poor child grow up to become president … but only if the people vote.
