THOMPSON, Conn. – Dave St. Clair of Liberty notched a ninth-place finish in the Outlaw Late Model division in the World Series of Speedway Racing at Thompson International Speedway on Saturday. His son and grandson also raced with grandson Josh St. Clair coming home 16th and Josh’s father Puncin finishing 17th. Rick Gentes of Woonsocket, R.I., won the race.
Meanwhile, Ernie Wallace of Winterport came home 17th in the Outlaw Mini-Stock feature. Mike O’Connor of Barrington, R.I., took the checkered flag. Scarborough’s Chris Smith was second in the Outlaw Strictly Stock division behind Jimmy Silvia of Middletown, R.I.
