Top three priorities if elected:

? Reducing the importation and incineration of out-of-state waste, and preventing a major polluter from locating in the district. Maine must not be the disposal ground for the rest of the Northeast.

? Affordable health care coverage for all Maine residents. Maine deserves single-payer universal coverage that emphasizes prevention and reasonable treatment for those in need of care.

? Fair and balanced education. Welfare doesn’t cure poverty; education does. Our future depends on an intelligent work force that can adapt to change and add value to our natural resources.
