? We must stabilize the Legislature’s attitude toward business. Maine will not experience significant investment in new jobs until major financial advisers recommend Maine as a business-friendly state.

? Continue the expansion of the legislative oversight committee OPEGA to examine state programs and expenditures. The Legislature must be able to enforce accountability.

? Maine must deal with an epidemic of sex offenders. We must deal with punishment, treatment, housing and, most importantly, prevention of further offenses.

? Providing pre-K through 16 education that is more than teaching to a test and is accessible to everyone. I would support tax credits for tuition for those students who stay and work in Maine.

? Supporting the Dirigo Plan in expanding quality, access and affordability of health care for all Maine residents.

? Economic development encouraging entrepreneurial business and providing jobs that pay a decent wage. My husband and I have each owned small businesses. I support initiatives such as Pine Tree Zone.
