MACHIAS – Kelly Lombardi of Roque Bluffs will read from her new poetry book at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, at a community gathering in her honor at the Porter Memorial Library.

Titled “Tuscany Light,” the book describes the spiritual and physical beauty of a place in Italy that Lombardi visits annually, a 12th-century Augustinian monastery in the Tuscan town of San Gimignano.
