I write to confirm my unqualified support for John Piotti, as he seeks re-election to the Maine House of Representatives, to the seat that I once held.

I’ve written before articulating the many reasons why he is the best person for the job. I don’t feel a need to elaborate these reasons again. Whether you are a Republican, Democrat, independent or Green, John is the clear choice.

I’ve taken some flak over the years for my public and enthusiastic support for someone from the “other party.” I guess what some people don’t understand is that the Maine State House will always remain overly partisan and political as long as we the voters make decisions based on party affiliations alone.

John is as nonpartisan as is possible in Augusta, and I applaud him for that. It’s clear that his allegiance is to the people of our district. He deserves our full support.
