PORTLAND – Novice class super lightweight boxer Josh Harvey of Dexter won a unanimous decision over Bryce Landry of Nashua, N.H., at the Northeast Regional semifinals over the weekend.
Novice class super lightweight Calvin Elwell of Stockton Springs won by forfeit, and both boxers advanced to the championship finals on Nov. 4 at the Portland Boxing Club.
Other local competitors included novice lightweight Ron Harvey of Dexter, who was defeated in a split decision by Cameron Johnson of Lynn, Mass., and open class welterweight Matt Fields of Fairfield, who was beaten by Manny Medina of Belmont, Mass., by unanimous decision.
