Boys

Big School (Classes A-B)

BOB SEGER

Seger, a senior on the Hampden Academy football team, rushed for 306 yards as the Broncos defeated Maranacook of Readfield 41-12 in a Pine Tree Conference Class B football game. Seger also scored six touchdowns, including a 90-yard TD run and a 40-yard scoring pass. Defensively, Seger contributed four tackles as the Broncos won their regular-season finale.

Small School (Classes C-D)

ADDISON PELLERANO

Pellerano, a member of the George Stevens Academy of Blue Hill boys cross country team, won the Eastern Maine Class C individual championship Saturday at the Troy Howard Middle School in Belfast. Pellerano was timed in 17 minutes, 37.09 seconds to win the race by move than seven seconds.

Girls

Big School (Classes A-B)

BROOKE REED

Reed, a forward on the Belfast field hockey team, scored two goals in the Lions’ 3-1 victory in the Eastern Maine Class B final over Camden Hills Wednesday. Reed has scored five goals in the postseason so far.

Small School (Classes C-D)

RENEE LAFLAMME

LaFlamme, a Mattanawcook Academy junior, won the Eastern Maine Class C cross country championship, touring the 5-kilometer course in a time of 20 minutes, 38.31 seconds, to lead the Lynx to the team title.
