BANGOR – Insurance Professionals of Eastern Maine and the Bangor Fire Department will host a fire safety smokehouse for children from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday Oct. 28, at the Bangor Wal-Mart.

The smokehouse will teach children what to do in a fire and how to get out of a burning home.

Free hats and balloon animals will be available for children.
