Laura Goettsch

Laura Goettsch of the University of Maine Volleyball team was honored as America East Volleyball Player of the Week. Goettsch recorded 17 kills in a 3-1 victory over Stony Brook and 15 kills in a 3-1 win at Hartford, averaging 4 kills per game.

Rob Munro

Bates College junior Rob Munro was named NESCAC Men’s Soccer Co-Player of the Week. He made 10 saves in a double-overtime win over Wesleyan in a NESCAC tournament game Sunday.

Mary Bucci

Mary Bucci of Bates College was named NESCAC Women’s Soccer Player of the Week. She scored both Bates’ goals in a 2-1 NESCAC tournament win over Tufts Sunday.

Adam Bial

Adam Bial of the University of Southern Maine was named Little East Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. He had a goal and two assists in two matches last week.

Ray Jean

Ray Jean of Randolph, a senior at Bentley College, was named Atlantic Hockey’s Goalie of the Week. He made 73 saves in two games against Princeton, recording a win and a tie.

Jackson Parker

Colby College linebacker Jackson Parker was named NESCAC Defensive Player of the Week. He made nine tackles, seven solo, recorded a sack and a forced fumble in leading Colby to a 10-7 win over Bates.

Drew Croteau

Drew Croteau of the University of Maine-Farmington was named NAC Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week. Croteau finished the 8K course in 30:03.57 averaging just over six minute miles earning medalist honors at the NAC Championships.

Emily Farley

Emily Farley of the University of Maine-Farmington was selected as NAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week. Farley earned medalist and Rookie of the year honors at the NAC Championships winning the 5K race with a time of 21:55.92.

Jackie Mrazik

University of Maine-Farmington’s Jackie Mrazik was named NAC Women’s Soccer Rookie of the Week. Mrazik scored an unassisted goal at the 63:44 mark to lift the Beavers to a 1-0 win over Maine Maritime in the NAC Quarterfinals.

Emily Sypher

Emily Sypher of Simmons College was named NAC Field Hockey Rookie of the Week. The Orono native scored the game-winning goal with less than five minutes remaining in Simmon’s 2-1 upset victory over Husson in the NAC quarterfinals on Saturday.
