HOUGHTON, N.Y. – Tiffin University outshot the University of Maine-Fort Kent 26-2, rolling past the Bengals 7-0 Sunday to advance to the NAIA Region IX women’s soccer finals.
Meg Smalley had two goals and an assist and Andrea Guthrie added two goals. Melissa Ford, Sheri Camloh and Lindsey Kuty chipped in with a goal apiece. Jenni Rooselit made one save for the 15-3-2 Highlanders.
Heather Hartman recorded nine saves for the Bengals, who finish 17-1.
