ORONO – The town of Orono will install Bonnie Hamm as the new postmaster at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17, at the Orono post office. The oath of office will be administered by Susan Mills, manager, post office operations for the U.S. Postal Service, District of Maine.

Hamm began her career with the U.S. Postal Service eight years ago as a PTF carrier in Bangor. As postmaster, she will be responsible for four other employees handling the mail for 640 post office box holders.
