ORONO – The University of Maine School of Performing Arts will present “Wintertime” at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 10-11; and 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, at Hauck Auditorium, Memorial Union.

Playwright Charles Mee pulls together disparate elements from past theatrical works and meshes them with contemporary aspects, creating a play that is contemporary but never strays from its historical roots.

Tom Mikotowicz directs the play. Admission is $8.

. Athena Consort and Black Bear Men’s Chorus, 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, Minsky Recital Hall.

. Brass Night, 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, Minsky Recital Hall.

. Yuletide Concert, 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10, Maine Center for the Arts. Admission $8.

. Works-in-Progress Dance Showcase, 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15. Hauck Auditorium.
