Women’s Hall of Fame accepting nominations

HINCKLEY – The Maine Women’s Hall of Fame is accepting nominations for the Induction Ceremony to be held Saturday, March 17, 2007, at the University of Maine in Augusta.

An independent panel of judges will review the nominations and select one or two inductees. The criteria for selection is the following: The woman’s achievements have had a significant statewide impact; the woman’s achievements have significantly improved the lives of women in Maine; and the woman’s contribution has enduring value for women.
