Outlook: Maine has won the last 11 meetings vs. UML but is 1-3 in the last four vs. UNH. The youthful and surprising River Hawks are 3-0-2 in their last five games and have allowed just four goals in their last four, outshooting their opponents 118-79 in those four games. UML skates 11 freshmen. They have a dangerous veteran line in Hall-Tejchma-Roebothan. Maine has the nation’s best power play (27.9 percent) while penalty-killing has been a weakness for the River Hawks (69.2 percent). The River Hawks will need to stay out of the box. UNH hosted Boston University Friday night. The line of Pollastrone-Smith-Fornataro has been the most prolific one for the Wildcats but the veteran line of Micflikier-Mike Radja-Hemingway line can dominate a game. Maine has to continue to forecheck efficiently and force turnovers. Freshman Hutton and junior Regan are quality goaltenders so Maine has to get traffic in front of them. Maine will be minus RW Keith Johnson (knee), at least on Friday.
