Those who love Highland music, and are lucky, may still be able to get a ticket to see The Highland Soles featuring dancer Laura Scott and fiddler Ed Pearlman at 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, at Center Theatre, 20 East Main St. in Dover-Foxcroft.
Patrick Myers, executive director of Center Theatre, reports this performance, considered one of the most unique programs in the series, is expected to be a sellout.
Tickets are $15 in advance and can be obtained by calling the theatre at 564-8943.
If any tickets do remain, Myers, said, they will be $17 at the door, but you shouldn’t take that chance if you want to see this outstanding Maine family group that features Highland dance, Cape Breton step dance and Scottish Highland folk dances. Buy your tickets in advance.
Scott has received excellent reviews from The Boston Globe and The Washington Post, and Pearlman is considered one of American’s top fiddlers.
The group has played to sold-out houses in Maine and Boston. This next appearance is expected to be no exception.
