More campaign thanks

Thank you to my friends and neighbors in Camden and Rockport for the chance to represent you in the Legislature. I am honored by this opportunity and will take the advice that was passed along by one of my friends; “Every time you go to Augusta take three things: integrity, sincerity and humility.”

During the campaign I was able to meet with many of you at your homes and hear about your hopes and wishes for our communities.

As I expected, I found a caring and compassionate group of people with some real concerns about the way government represents their needs. I identified some major issues that need to be addressed such as fair taxation, affordable healthcare, and quality education. Addressing these issues and protecting our resources will help keep the quality of life as we know it here in Maine.

I would also like to thank my family, and the hardworking group of volunteers who made this possible. This was a great example of a committed group of people making a difference. Thanks also to Rep. Steve Bowen for his hard work during his two terms. Although we see the solutions differently, he has worked hard for our communities.

Please keep in touch through the coming months. I am available and interested in the ideas that matter to you.

Rep.-elect Dave Miramant

District 46 Camden/Rockport
