Cleveland lifts Husson to win

PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Freshman Martin Cleveland netted 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds Saturday to power Husson College of Bangor to an 85-54 victory over Centenary College in the Bridgewater State tournament.

Sheraud Lee added 11 points while Tyler Muzzy had 14 points for the Eagles. Cleveland was named to the all-tournament team.

Kyle Warner led Centenary with 13 points.

At Worster, Mass., Evann Baker scored 20 points to help lead Maine Central Institute Post Graduate to the 82-79 overtime win over Stoneridge Prep of California in the National Prep Showcase on Sunday. MCI lost to South kent 75-58 on Saturday.

On Saturday, Manuel Cass led South Kent with 18 points.

Lonnie Hayes scored 17 points for MCI.
