BANGOR – Some area residents expressed concern Monday over the presence of the city police tactical team at a building on Buck Street, just off Main Street, but the activity was merely a training exercise.

The team leader, Lt. Jeff Millard, said there was no cause for concern and that the group was at the abandoned building as a part of monthly training.

“We try to find abandoned buildings in the area to use” for training, Millard said.
