PARK CITY, Utah – Portland’s Kevin Mahaney has been named a trustee of the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team Foundation.

Mahaney, a 1992 Olympic silver medalist in sailing and a lacrosse All-American, has served as president and CEO for Olympic Equity since 1988. He has also competed at the USSA’s U.S. Snowboarding Championships.

He is also a University of Maine trustee. Mahaney is the son of Larry Mahaney, a Bangor businessman and philanthropist who died in February.
