A search on the ground and from the air for a missing 77-year-old Greenville man continued through the night Wednesday.

Wardens and police began searching in the late afternoon when the man failed to return to his Wild Berry Lane home after a walk with his golden retriever dog. Neither the unidentified man nor his dog have been seen since they left at 1 p.m., according to Warden Kevin Adam of the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.

Adam said the man has some medical problems. Assisting in the search from the air was the Maine National Guard.
