Thirteen-year-old Kameron has been in foster care since September 1998.
He is a healthy and handsome boy who wants a family of his own.
He would like a mother and father who enjoy both indoor and outdoor activities.
Kameron enjoys boating, riding his bicycle, being with animals, going on long walks and visiting fairs and circuses.
He also likes to play video games and carve things out of wood.
Kameron would like to have parents who “understand kids and know what they need.”
Ideally, his adoptive parents would have parenting experience and adequate time to help him feel secure and positive about himself.
Kameron would enjoy and benefit from one-on-one time with his parents.
He is well-behaved in the community and loves to take on new experiences. He can be polite and courteous. Kameron will do best in a family with older children. He would like to maintain periodic visits with his siblings.
Kameron is one of the 155 children in the state Department of Health and Human Services care who is seeking an adoptive family.
Based in Gardiner, A Family for ME is a nonprofit program that works in collaboration with Maine DHHS to find foster and adoptive families for Maine children in care.
