AUGUSTA – Maine State Police detectives worked Saturday and Sunday on River Road in Norridgewock, where a body was found by hunters on Friday, finally concluding their work there late Sunday afternoon.

State police spokesman Stephen McCausland said Sunday the state medical examiner is performing an autopsy as part of the effort to identify the remains.
