Library lists events at Tenants Harbor

TENANTS HARBOR – Jackson Memorial Library will hold the following events in December:

. Poet Martin Steingesser will present “Windspooning,” a collection of his old and new poetry, at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3.

. AARP will sponsor a defensive driving course taught by Don Lunt, 8:30-12:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, and Friday, Dec. 15. For more information contact Jean MacFarland, 372-8010.

. The annual family holiday celebration with live Christmas music and a reading by Jon Van Sorosin of “A Child’s Christmas in Wales,” 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16. Refreshments will be served.

. Story hour with Jan Zimmerman, 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9. Activities will include music, crafts, stories and refreshments.
