Eileen Flaherty
Bowdoin College senior Eileen Flaherty has been named the Maine Women’s Basketball Coaches Association co-Player of the Week. Flaherty was named MVP of the Red Hawk/Pioneer Invitational after scoring 48 points and grabbing 11 rebounds in wins over Willian Paterson and Montclair State.
Katie Sibley
Katie Sibley of the University of Southern Maine was named the Maine Women’s Basketball Coaches Association co-Player of the Week and the Little East Conference Player of the Week. Sibley poured in a career-high 25 points to lead the Huskies to an 87-77 win at Bates. She was 10-for-10 from the free throw line and added five rebounds and four assists.
Caitlyn Laflin
Freshman Caitlyn Laflin from UMaine-Farmington was named the Maine Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Rookie of the Week for the second-straight week. Laflin scored 22 points and was 8-for-10 from the floor and 6-for-7 from the free throw line in a win over Saint Joseph’s.
T.J. Kelley
Colby College men’s hockey player T.J. Kelley was named the NESCAC Player of the Week. Kelley had four goals and two assists in two games for the 14th-ranked White Mules.
Jenna Ouellette
University of Maine freshman forward Jenna Ouellette has been named the Mission Hockey Rookie of the Week. Ouellette notched a goal and five assists in Friday night’s win over Sacred Heart, then added another goal during Saturday’s victory to lead Maine to the weekend sweep.
Nicole Paradis
Freshman guard Nicole Paradis from the University of Southern Maine was named Little East Rookie of the Week. Paradis tallied seven points, two assists, two rebounds and two steals off the bench against Bates.
Kevin Bradley
Bowdoin College senior Kevin Bradley was named NESCAC co-Player of the Week. Bradley averaged 20.5 points, 3.5 assists, 3.5 steals and was 9-for-13 from behind the arc during two victories for the Polar Bears.
Isaac Stickney
University of New England’s Isaac Stickney has been chosed the Commonwealth Coast Conference Player of the Week. Stickney scored a career-high 24 points and grabbed seven rebounds and blocked four shots in the Nor’easters’ 81-75 home loss to Bowdoin.
