For the second time in two months burglars have broken into Robinson’s Store. The latest break-in occurred after the store was closed Tuesday night. The burglars broke a window in a door facing the gasoline pumps and took an undisclosed amount of beer and cigarettes, according to Dexter Police Chief Art Roy. Penobscot County Deputy James Roy and his tracking dog were called to assist Cpl. Allen Grinnell of the Dexter Police Department in the investigation. In October, burglars broke a lock to the store and took about $580 in cash. Anyone who may have seen activity at the store after hours is encouraged to call Dexter police at 924-7622.
