Army Pvt. Joshua Kinney graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. A 1999 graduate of Presque Isle High School is the son of Wendell Kinney of Frederica, Del. and Patricia Kinney of Presque Isle.

Air Force Airman Nathan Collin graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. A 2006 graduate of Wisdom High School in St. Agatha, Collin is the son of Daniel Collin of Frenchville.
