BOSTON – The Boston Red Sox announced that Fenway Park will be the site of a regular-season minor league doubleheader for the second straight year with the return of “Futures at Fenway” on Saturday, Aug. 11.

The Lowell Spinners, the Red Sox’s short-season Single-A affiliate, will play the Hudson Valley Renegades (Tampa Bay organization) in a New York-Penn League contest. The Double-A Portland Sea Dogs and Harrisburg Senators (Washington organization) follow in Eastern League action.

The Sea Dogs open the 2007 season April 5 at 6 p.m. at Hadlock Field in Portland against the Connecticut Defenders. Tickets for the 2007 season are on sale. Call 879-9500 or visit www.seadogs.com.
