Muzzy lifts Husson to 3rd win

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Tyler Muzzy poured in a game-high 35 points and pulled down 11 rebounds to lead the Husson College men’s basketball team to a 93-90 victory over Lesley Saturday.

Martin Cleveland added 25 points and 11 boards to help Husson hold off Lesley.

Jason Harvey chipped in 10 points and seven assists and Sheraud Lee came off the bench for 10 points for Eagles of Bangor.

Joseph Chatman netted 32 points and Stanley Chamblain had 18 on six three-pointers. Malcolm Andrews added 15, James Parker scored 12 and Mark Stevens chipped in 11 for 3-3 Lesley.

EMCC loses two

At Concord, N.H., Eastern Maine Community College dropped two games at the New Hampshire Technological Institute Festival Tournament, 105-60 to New Hampshire Technical Institute on Saturday and 103-49 to Hesser on Sunday.

In Saturday’s game, Lavell Bruton tossed in 13 points and Chris Lawes tallied 12 points, seven assists and five steals to lead NHTI.

Dave Constant and Andrew Davenport added 12 points apiece for the Capitals.

O’Neil Qualey scored a game-high 16 points and Josh Madden chipped in with 12 for the Golden Eagles. Ray Buzzell had 11 points and seven rebounds and Mike Towle tallied eight points, eight rebounds and three blocks.

In Sunday’s game, Harold Reynoso poured in 21 points, and Patrick Davis and Kevin Wilson added 17 points apiece to pace Hesser.

Corey Jacobs added nine points, six assists and six steals.

Towle recorded 12 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks for the Golden Eagles. Madden had 10 points and six boards and DJ Robinson tallied six points, seven rebounds and three steals.
