CAMDEN – Police received a report Tuesday morning of an apparent break-in attempt at Renys department store on Elm Street.
Camden Police Chief Phil Roberts said Tuesday that store staff reported a window broken in the rear of the building. It appeared no entrance was gained.
The incident is the third in recent days, the chief said. An alarm at the Waterfront restaurant was sounded at about 5 a.m. Saturday when a window was broken, and the owners of Sonny G’s restaurant on Saturday reported a window broken.
Roberts said even though no entrance was gained, the nature of the incidents does not suggest vandalism.
