Outlook: St. Lawrence is ranked seventh in the country and split a series with No. 1 Mercyhurst, beat No. 4 Harvard, and had a tie and a loss against No. 3 New Hampshire. Which Maine team will show up? The one that thumped Northeastern 7-2 on Saturday or the one that lost to the Huskies 6-2 on Sunday? The Saints have a lot of firepower and Maine is going to have to get the puck deep and forecheck tenaciously. They’ll also need outstanding goaltending. St. Lawrence’s top six scorers are on its top two lines. The Saints have outstanding balance on their power play as six players have at least three power-play goals led by Domenico’s five. St. Lawrence has won four of its last five while Maine is 5-1-2 in its last eight.
