BRUNSWICK – Michael Westbrooks’ basket with one second left lifted the Colby College White Mules to a 68-67 men’s basketball victory over the Bowdoin College Polar Bears Saturday night.
Mark Gaudet scored 21 points for Colby and Nick Farrell added 14 points and seven assists. Drew Cohen scored 11 points and Westbrooks had 10 points and eight rebounds.
Kevin Bradley led Bowdoin with 18 points and Jordan Fliegel had 13 points and nine rebounds. Andrew Hippert and Kyle Jackson had 13 points apiece.

UM-Fort Kent wins tourney
At Waterville, Rytis Kriunas scored 25 points to lead the UMaine-Fort Kent Bengals to an 85-79 win over Thomas Sunday in the championship game of the Terrier Tip-Off tournament.
Kriunas was named the MVP while the Bengals defeated UM-Presque Isle 77-63 Saturday. The Owls won Sunday’s consolation game against Unity 83-79. Thomas beat Unity 84-70 Saturday.
In Sunday’s championship game, Hamill Bassue had 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Bengals and Gediminas Sumyla added 13 points.
Darrell Alexander led Thomas with 20 points and Scott Peters added 19 points and seven rebounds. Adam Blodgett and Reggie Jett had 17 and 15 points, respectively.
In Sunday’s consolation game, Rodney Montgomery poured in 19 points and Travis Hovey added 18 for the Owls. Anthony Wingate also scored 16. Unity’s Jared Erskine led all scorers with 23 points and 14 rebounds, and Brandon Coones had 22 points.
In Saturday’s first game, Alexander tossed in 22 points and Peters chipped in with 20. Erskine had 15 for Unity.
In Saturday’s second game, Sumyla led UM-Fort Kent with 13 points. Bassue had 12 points and eight rebounds and Kriunas also scored 12 points. Yair Gal and Darius Parker scored 11 points apiece.
Hovey and Thomas Wire paced UM-Presque Isle with 13 points apiece. Wingate had 12 points and Mike Latchford added nine points and nine rebounds.
