Savage lifts Ellsworth to win

CARIBOU – Hillary Savage canned a 3-pointer with just over a minute to play to give Ellsworth a 48-47 high school girls basketball victory over Caribou Friday.

Savage finished with 16 points for the Eagles, while Paige Saunders also netted 16.

Ali Richards scored a game-high 17 points for the Vikings.
