MACHIAS – Michael Little made two free throws with 13 seconds left in the game to lift Machias to a 70-46 Downeast Athletic Conference boys basketball victory over Woodland on Saturday.

Little finished with a game-high 25 points, and Dwight Whitney added 13 for the Bulldogs.

Todd Diadone paced Woodland with 21 points. Ben Smith had 15 points, and Chad Jones added 10 for the Dragons.

Sean Babin chipped in with two goals and two assists for the 2-1-1 winners and Raymond added two assists. Chris McConnon notched a goal and assist while Chad Evinger, Ben Perry and Dustin Goudreau each recorded a goal. Jared Bussell and David Eugley combined for 23 saves.

Connor Scofield and Casey Hull each scored a goal for 2-2 John Bapst of Bangor and Nate Kuneman and Derek Duff combined for 28 saves.
