HOULTON – Emily Bartlett tossed in 14 points and Keegan Hovey hit two free throws with eight seconds left to seal the win as the undefeated Houlton girls basketball team knocked off previously undefeated Fort Kent 52-47 Saturday in high school action.

Houlton’s Rachel Foster chipped in with 10 points and 16 rebounds.

Fort Kent outscored Houlton 22-8 in the fourth quarter Marissa Albert finished with 19 points and Emily Pelletier had nine.

Norsworthy went 12-for-16 from the free-throw line. Allison Dean added five points as five other Presque Isle players scored at least two points apiece.

Ashley Kelley led Hermon with 12 points and Vanessa Davenport chipped in with 11.

Matt Boehmer had two goals and two assists for the 5-0 Rams and Chad Kelley scored twice. Christian Dionne and Jake Silver each had a goal and two assists. Ted Murray, Dave Pardilla, and John Warren scored a goal. Joel Whitney and Steve Seccareccia provided three assists each. Andrew Riley and Zack Hamilton combined to blocked seven of 12 shots.

Keven Laplante scored four goals for 0-4 Lisbon/Oak Hill. Tyler Brown scored a goal and Tom Edgecomb provided two assists. Kyle Watson made 37 saves on 55 shots.

Brewer 10, Old Town 2

At T.J. Ryan Arena, Brewer, Ryan Nadeau scored two goals and assisted another to lead Brewer past Old Town.

Dylan Fitzpatrick had a goal and an assist for the Witches. Andrew Richardson, Tyler Coombs, Nick Risser, Mike Kotredes, Reid McLaughlin, and Prentiss Swett scored a goal. Devin Fitzpatrick provided three assists. Aaron Saunders stopped nine of 11 shots.

Jason Smith scored two unassisted goals for the Coyotes. Jason Trask and Dan LeBreton combined to stop 27 of 37 shots.

John Bapst 5, Foxcroft 1

At Sawyer Arena, Bangor, Casey Hull scored two goals and provided an assist to lift John Bapst over Foxcroft Academy.

Connor Scofield had a goal and an assist for the Crusaders as Neal LaFrance and Ethan Sale scored. Doug Dieuveuil stopped 17 of 18 shots.

Dan Rosebush scored on a Brad Bellemare assist for the Ponies. Chad Phillips made 23 saves on 28 shots.
