For many people, Christmas is the most special time of the year. Family gatherings, church services, presents, and Christmas dinner all will make for a festive celebration. Thanks to many individuals, families, children, organizations, and groups throughout the region who contributed to the Santa’s Helper Fund, many families who have found themselves on hard times also will enjoy the simple pleasures of the holiday, delivered to them by The Salvation Army.
The Santa’s Helper Fund will continue to take donations through the end of the month, and will publish the last list of donors in the January 3, 2007, edition of the Bangor Daily News. Many thanks to all who have contributed to the Santa’s Helper Fund to date.
