Is anyone feeling lonely, hurting, hopeless, rejected, or lacking in anything? Feelings change, but we believe they are truth. If people or circumstances have not been kind to you, there is someone who genuinely cares. Perhaps you have caused others pain, there is still hope for you. All of us want love and acceptance. Hope is knowing there is a place of refuge and comfort, where burdens can be lifted as well as receive forgiveness. Isolating yourself is no the answer, nor is getting even, or holding onto anger. Anger leads to sickness, with even more consequences, adding to guilt. It can become a vicious cycle. What is the real answer?
Can self-help books, drugs or alcohol make your hopelessness leave or change you? Are you desperate for change? There is an answer – the unconditional love of the One who created you; come to Him through his son, Jesus!
Now, before you stop reading, please continue for a few more sentences – it could be the one person you haven’t tried yet: Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life! His love is pure, no strings attached, comforting, and accepting you just as you are! He died for your grief, sorrows, and sicknesses, as well as for the evil we all have done. He became the acceptable sacrifice to a holy God for those sins. Because He arose from the grave, His spirit can give you the power to overcome those feelings. Come to Him with a sincere heart.
God’s love through His son, Jesus, restores your mind and body. His “presence” is the best “present” ever to be given! Our God wants a personal relationship with you! Ask Him to reveal Himself to you. Each person has been given a measure of faith.
