ORONO – Nomination papers are available at the town office for the March 13 municipal election. Following are the seats open for election:

. Two three-year terms on the Town Council for the expired terms of Mark Haggerty and Thomas Spitz.

. Two three-year terms on the school board for the expired terms of James Bird and R. Shane Stafford.

The deadline for filing papers is 4:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26. At least 25 but no more than 100 signatures of town voters are required to have a name placed on the ballot.
