HODGDON – Ben Doucette poured in a game-high 41 points as Van Buren pulled away for an 87-79 high school boys basketball victory over Hodgdon Wednesday.

Alex Martin added 18 points and Riley Lizotte recorded 16 for the Crusaders.

Jordan Guy notched 38 points 10 rebounds and seven blocks and Travis Bartley tallied 14 points and 14 rebounds for the Hawks. Chris Williams netted 13 points.

Lauren Nichols and Eve Jordan combine for the other seven Bapst points. Jordan had an important breakaway layup in the fourth quarter.

Amanda Cyr’s six points, Jessica Kinney’s five and Kristen Espling’s four points led Caribou.
