LINCOLN – Bree Hanscom scored 10 of her game-high 20 points in the first quarter as Mattanawcook Academy built an 18-2 lead and never looked back en route to a 57-33 high school girls basketball victory over Central Thursday.

Michelle Paul scored 12 points for the Lynx.

Mackie Davis and Cat Melton had eight points each for the Red Devils of Corinth.

Ryan Nadeau had a pair of assists for the Witches with Matt Helfen, Dave Perry, Nick Risser, Chris Lopez and Tyler Coombs notching one apiece.
