Brewer landfill taking trees until Jan. 23

BREWER – Residents can drop off their Christmas trees free of charge at either the Brewer Auditorium or the city’s landfill until Jan. 23.

There will be no curbside pickup of the holiday trees.

Those dropping off trees at the auditorium should use the lower gate, located off Wilson Street. Public Works crews will pick up the trees at least once a week.

The Brewer landfill on Elm Street is accepting the Christmas trees during regular hours.
