SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Eileen Flaherty tossed in 23 points to lead Bowdoin College of Brunswick to a 64-43 women’s basketball victory over Union College in the opening round of the Springfield College Classic Tuesday.
The Polar Bears will play Norwich (Vt.) in today’s 5:30 p.m. championship game.
Jill Anelauskas chipped in with 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Polar Bears.
Devon Ciliberto and Michelle Rogers scored seven points apiece for Union.
