Hawks edge Washburn in overtime Williams, Guy spark Hodgdon’s triumph

WASHBURN – Chris Williams’ nailed his only field goal, a 3-pointer, in overtime and Jordan Guy added a pair of free throws to rally the Hodgdon Hawks to a 58-56 high school boys basketball victory over the Washburn Beavers Tuesday night.

Guy scored 11 of his game-high 26 points in the fourth quarter as Hodgdon erased a nine-point deficit to force overtime and avenge a 52-35 home loss to the Beavers on Dec. 8.

Travis Bartley added 12 points for the Hawks while Washburn received 14 points apiece from Adam Thompson and Steven Pesut.
