BLUE HILL – Joey Hunter popped in 10 points, grabbed 19 rebounds and recorded three blocks to spark the Washington Academy Raiders of East Machias to a 58-43 high school boys basketball victory over George Stevens Academy Tuesday.

Eric Leighton topped WA with 11 points, Mike Von Rotz added eight, and Ben Teer posted six assists.

Ebb Walton led the George Stevens Academy Eagles with a game-high 13 points, and Jared Gordon contributed eight.
