Bowdoin rolls past Norwich

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Jill Anelauskas scored 11 points and recorded eight rebounds to lead Bowdoin College past Norwich University 46-31 to win the Springfield College Women’s Basketball Classic Wednesday.

Eileen Flaherty had 10 points for Bowdoin of Brunswick.

Kristi Powlovich led Norwich with eight points.

At Springfield, Mass., Anthony Williams scored a game-high 18 points to pace Plattsburgh State by Colby College in the consolation game of the Hall of Fame Tournament if Wednesday at Springfield College.

Adam Choice paced Colby with 16 points and six rebounds. Mac Simpson had 15 points while Mark Gaudet chipped in with nine for the White Mules.
