Outlook: Maine has won the last 12 meetings. The River Hawks are 0-9-2 in their last 11, but their last three losses have been by one goal including a 2-1 loss to No. 8 Denver in the Denver Cup in which they outshot the Pioneers 37-23. They have been held to two goals or fewer in nine games during their winless streak. Third-ranked Maine is 4-0-1 in its last five and had eight power-play goals in 15 chances in winning the Florida College Classic. The Chelmsford Forum is a small rink, so both teams will have to adapt and keep things simple. UML has been playing 11 freshmen regularly, so Maine will try to capitalize on its experience to win loose battles for the puck and generate a netfront presence.
