ELLSWORTH – United Baptist Church has a new interim pastor.
The Rev. James Waugh will start Sunday.
Waugh served the First Baptist Church in Bar Harbor for some eight years in the 1960s and 1970s. He has served churches in Maine, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Vermont.
After 43 years in the ministry, he retired to Ossipee, N.H., with his wife, Virginia, in April 1998.
