FORT KENT – The Recreation and Parks Department will be forming coed youth hockey teams for children in grades three through eight. Registration will run until Jan. 12, and the fee is $20 per player for residents and $25 for nonresidents.
The players will learn hockey and skating skills, and if a schedule can be established, they will play in games against area communities.
The teams are in need of coaches and game referees. Anyone interested in becoming involved with the program can call the Recreation Department at 834-3730.
